The agreement between Albania and the US helps to facilitate the traveling process

In agreement and cooperation with the US Department of State, Albanian citizens can now travel to the USA even if their passport expires in the last 6 months before travel.

At the same time, Albanian citizens returning to Albania from the USA can travel if their passport has expired.

The decision was agreed today, during a meeting held in Tirana between the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs and senior representatives of the US Department of State, this decision places Albania in the so-called “6-month Club”.
